Lisa Larroque Alexander

Lisa Larroque Alexander is senior vice president of corporate affairs and chief sustainability officer for Sempra. In this role, Alexander oversees sustainable value creation, corporate social responsibility and external affairs for the Fortune 500 energy infrastructure company. Sempra is consistently recognized for its leadership in sustainability and diversity and inclusion and is the only North American utility holding company included in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index.

Previously, Alexander has served in a number of executive roles for Sempra and its companies, with responsibilities for market strategy, clean transportation, energy efficiency, research and development, and environmental policy. Prior to joining the Sempra family of companies, Alexander was a partner at a management consulting firm where she advised North America’s leading electric utilities on smart grid and demand response. Previously, she advised Fortune 500 companies in the entertainment, health care and manufacturing sectors on market transformation and growth strategies.

Alexander is currently a member of the board of directors of the United States Chamber of Commerce and Equality California and is president of the Sempra Energy Foundation. She has previously served on the boards of CalSTART, TreePeople, the United Way of Greater Los Angeles and other social and environmental nonprofit organizations.
